 Highlights

 Full Description

Start your day with a scenic drive from Samarkand toward the Tajikistan border. After crossing the border, discover the cultural heritage of the region with a visit to the Samanids Monument in Panjikent, an important symbol of Tajik history.

Enjoy free time at the Panjikent local bazaar, where daily life unfolds among fresh fruits, spices, and traditional goods, offering a true glimpse into local culture.

From Panjikent, continue your journey deep into the Shing Valley, home to the famous Seven Lakes of the Fann Mountains. Travel through breathtaking mountain landscapes and visit the lakes Mijgon, Soya, Gushor, Nofin, Khurdak, and Hazorchashma, each located at a different altitude and displaying stunning shades of water ranging from turquoise to deep sapphire.

Make a scenic stop at Lake Marguzor, the largest of the Seven Lakes, where you can admire its impressive size and enjoy panoramic mountain views from selected viewpoints.

At Lake Hazorchashma, relax and enjoy a traditional lunch or picnic surrounded by untouched nature. Take a peaceful walk along the lakeshore, capture memorable photos, and experience the tranquility of the high mountains away from busy tourist routes.

On the return journey, visit the ancient archaeological ruins of Sarazm (Zarafshan), a UNESCO World Heritage Site that reveals the deep history of one of Central Asia’s earliest settlements.

Optionally, stop for a Bagizagan wine tasting or visit a local wine shop on the way back before returning to your hotel.
